For the twentieth anniversary of Creativity
from November 25th – Sculptures to wear

Anna Król, young Polish artist, is interested in the dynamics of creation: metamorphosis is first and foremost a mental process. The materials are at the service of free experimentation and the consequent wait for a final outcome. The jewel is the result of a complex creative act where many elements come into play like the preciousness of silver, the treatment of oxidation, the opaque rendering of matter so to evoke bone or wooden surfaces. It results from the new mental maps the artist concedes herself, a creative act that takes place in spite of its very being.
