Clara Del Papa is an artist and designer of contemporary jewelry, originally from Venezuela, Architect, urban planner, interior and garden designer, she grew up and trained in the artistic and cultural environments of South America. Since the 90s she has specialized in the field of goldsmithing, finding in the goldsmith’s art a unique means of expression. Her creations are distinguished by the use of materials such as silver, gold and bronze, often combined with resins, earths and sands, reflecting her South American roots and Italian cultural influences.
Her jewels are true wearable sculptures, which evoke symbols, flavors and distant landscapes, reinterpreted with artisan mastery.
His research is accompanied by a touch of magical realism that transfers into poetry a careful technique and a deep reading of the ambivalent relationship between demiurge and metal, where the latter allows itself to be shaped, but in turn suggests forms and finishes.
